IRISH MUSIC SCENE DOES NOT EXIST IN SERBIA::

Where genuine Paddy's spirit doesn't exist, pure imitation, reproduction, selling & acting out by worst of poseurs & scums comes as opportunity to crawl outta ground. Insult for genuine Irish music itself and all descent genuine Irish musicians worldwide and me here who am stuck in chains of Serbian system. Irish music scene in Serbia does not exist and there aren't Irish bands in Serbia as some journalistic whores try to present due to ignorance or whatever motives they might have, putting my story in some rotten fruit basket as well. While theres poseurs who sell theres always gonna be those fooled enough to buy the poseurs' crap cause they know not of any better. Cheap thrills, cheap entertainment, fake 'n' pose is not what Irish music and especially Irish punk rock in its true meaning represents. Fakers sell it in such manner. In a country where war criminals are considered heroes and their wifes are throned as no.1 artistic "singers" with national symbol & icon status, its pretty obvious what perception is given to "Irish music" and what is considered to be "Irish band". Not the essence, spirits, attitude, here it cunts the other stuff, poseurs chasing poseurs' goals. Media, ignorance, relatives connections, system desiribility, public appearance is used to fake, to put crap on throne, to present non-genuine & non-essential as the real, to show non-Irish as Irish. Fake is more than welcome where genuine stuff is beyond recognition, interest acception etc. Repetition makes the "poseurs' truth". Nazi principle "its easier to sell a bigger lie.." works out perfectly throughout. Lyrical trash and clothed performance by non-Paddies in such conditions is seen as the real deal, all a trick of outmost deception. Pricks with few beats and wires don't make Irish expression but sadly in the darkest forest one might look from a mouse to a bear. Irish music scene does not exist in Serbia. Where essence & attitude are on sale, quasi-music whores walk the "stage". Irish Rover And The Crew is not to be put in such poseurs' basket by the ignorant ones. My support band, the Crew, is opened to people from worldwide but this story is a Paddy one, genuine, furious expression of me own and hopefuly of all who tend to join me. In the meanwhile, for real journalists and interested parties, the truth should be told as it really is, trash is for the dump and real Irish music for the stage, not the opposite. Punk's not dead nor will be compromised by poseurs, ever.

IRISH ROVER AND THE CREW, BIOGRAPHY STATEMENT::

IRISH ROVER AND THE CREW ® was founded in 2005. by Irish Rover, Rover MacGowan, lead singer and lyricist, as victim of geography under given circumstances located in southeastern Europe, Serbia, Belgrade. With Shane MacGowan as the crucial influence the story is intented to feature STRONGLY INDIVIDUAL IRISH SPIRITED ATTITUDE AND PUNK ROCK EXPRESSION OF ROVER'S WITH SUPPORTING IRISH PUNK ROCK BAND(MEMBERS OF THE CREW) AND THAT IN ALL MEANS GOAL OF CREATING WORLDWIDE TOP RATED IRISH MUSIC PERFORMANCE. OIrish punk rock carries extreme energy, pure emotions, both in fast and slow songs, its the real life talking, philosophy of life, without pretending, faking, acting, posing and that takes rare people who are in the story 101%, with heart and soul included. No poseurs here, no feckin' way! The essence people not surface people! Essence punk not surface junk! OIrish punk rock ain't a job position, greedy opportunity, hobby or whatever but top positioned expression within spiritual ladder. OIrish punk rock is far from beeing bunch of people just knowing beats and wires! Due to wrong place of creation, far from Ireland and any Irish music roots and people who are to be found in many countries besides Ireland but not in Serbia, the story suffered very much from the starts. After enormous efforts and persuit so far, it was the complete lack of Irish musicians I have found in Belgrade, Serbia which led to lack of opportunity to choose, leading to breaking points, small number of gigs and real recorded material with "candidates" for The Crew who had every possible motives but the ones needed for the true Irish band. Due to situation wrong choices sadly followed. And the result? The complete dissapointment, discrace and loss of time with those who in attitude, spirit, devotion, style etc. rather matched Shaban(Serbian turbo folk cultural terorism "music" created under Slobodan Milosevic, the No. 1 European dictator after world war II) than the work of Shane whose songs are the starting point(tribute to Shane MacGowan until reaching enough of Rover's authentic songs for performing). The invitation for cooperation follows and its for worldwide musicians, no matter what country they're from BUT honesty, devotion and real feelings for this story come No. 1 and are a must! Irish Rover And The Crew is an enormous potential story and it will happen sooner or later, but with real people, real Crew, there were too many attempts by wrong people to put the idea down, to compromise with the essence, Irish music, Ireland, punk rock etc. but there can and never will be any compromise with the greatest stuff in the world! And when time comes the story will happen where and with whom Irish punk rock music is appreciated in its true meaning. For good people my doors are always widely opened. Future gigs are based on finding suitable Crew members or solo performance. Worldwide support and offers are needed more than ever! With Paddy's furious devotion for you!
